Kurt Steeby is the ISSO for the 7th Army Training Command responsible for protecting the Mission Partner Environment (MPE) computer network for Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany. Used by the U.S. Army, its allies, and partners, the MPE platform can communicate on a single network to maintain a digital common operating picture and common core services internationally. Standardizing how the Army shares information with mission partners reduces time and costs associated with building tailor-made networks for each mission and nation.
