Hosted By: NIST National Institute of Standards and Technology

Location:

The Department of Commerce (DOC) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) invite you to their second jointly hosted space cybersecurity symposium. This will be an applied cyber event, looking at cyber standards, the standards process, standards bodies, regulations, and federal acquisition requirements as they apply to commercial space. The event will include a focused, interactive demonstration of how to apply the NIST cybersecurity framework to a hypothetical space company.  Experts will share their perspectives and suggest approaches to address space system vulnerabilities and the needs for industry-wide standards for cybersecurity.

This is the second in an ongoing series of events to connect commercial space companies of all sizes with the Departments regarding cybersecurity measures and policies. All space cybersecurity stakeholders are welcome to participate.
