Ms. Singithi De Silva is a support contractor to the Director of Systems Security Policy, Standards, and Guidance in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Office of Science and Technology, Program Protection, where she supports the advancement of cyber-resilient weapons systems and system security engineering policy, guidance, acquisition regulations, standards, education and training, and engineering methods, tools, and techniques. She has extensive experience supporting the U.S. Department of the Navy as a software engineer and a cybersecurity engineer to include the Program Executive Office (PEO) Integrated Weapon Systems, PEO SHIPS, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, and Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition. She has also supported the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Headquarters as a programmer/analyst. Ms. De Silva holds a B.S. in computer science from Slippery Rock University and an M.S. in computer science from Johns Hopkins University, with a software engineering concentration.
